It’s not the Grand Canyon of America, but the Green Canyon of Pangandaran, West Java. Locals call it “Cukang Taneuh” or “Land Bridge,” named after the 3‑meter wide natural bridge spanning twin cliffs above the river. Flowing through mossy cliffs and cave‑like passages, the Cijulang River reveals emerald waters during the dry season, reflecting moss‑covered rocks and lush greenery. This is why it earned the name Green Canyon. A visit here is a must for anyone exploring Pangandaran.
